Support for Homeless Mothers and Children

Sacramento NCBW partners with Saint John’s Programs for Real Change to support homeless mothers and children. Saint John’s houses and provides myriad services to nearly 200 homeless women and children daily; many are African American.

We provide HIV/AIDs testing, education, and prevention, as well as financial literacy and healthy living seminars to Saint John’s clients. Additionally, we provide thousands of large size diapers and wipes to children at Saint John’s, many of whom come to the program partially potty-trained due to their unstable living conditions.
